Welcome to TASKO. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our app, website, and services.

By using TASKO, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use TASKO.

1. About TASKO

TASKO is a platform that connects customers with independent Taskers for local services in Nepal.

Customers can request tasks, and Taskers can accept and complete those tasks. TASKO helps with booking, communication, payment, support, and service management.

TASKO itself does not directly provide the services. Services are provided by independent Taskers.

2. Services

TASKO may offer services such as:

  • Heavy lifting
  • Queue standing
  • Errands
  • Pickup and delivery
  • Do & Deliver services
  • Safe Ride Home
  • Other local services

Services may vary depending on location, availability, Tasker availability, and legal requirements.

3. User Eligibility

To use TASKO, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use our services.

You agree to provide correct and updated information when creating your account.

4. User Account

You are responsible for your account and all activities under it.

You must keep your login details safe and inform TASKO if you believe your account has been misused.

TASKO may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or create risk for other users.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide clear and correct task details
  • Be available at the agreed time and location
  • Provide a safe task location
  • Treat Taskers respectfully
  • Pay the agreed amount through TASKO
  • Not request illegal, unsafe, harmful, or abusive tasks
  • Use TASKO only for lawful purposes
  • Report issues, damages, or disputes as soon as possible

Customers are responsible for making sure the task details, location, and instructions are accurate.

6. Tasker Responsibilities

Taskers agree to:

  • Provide correct profile and service information
  • Accept only tasks they can complete safely and properly
  • Arrive on time and behave professionally
  • Follow agreed task instructions
  • Maintain required license, permit, vehicle document, or insurance where applicable
  • Not ask for extra payment outside the platform
  • Not perform illegal, unsafe, or harmful work
  • Take responsibility for their own actions while performing a task

Taskers are independent service providers and are not employees, agents, or representatives of TASKO.

7. Damages

Taskers are responsible for any damage, loss, or harm caused by them while performing a task.

If a Customer reports damage, TASKO may review task details, photos, chat messages, payment records, and other evidence.

Based on the situation, TASKO may take necessary action, including warning, payout hold, refund, suspension, or account termination.

Customers should report any damage as soon as possible after the task.

8. Safe Ride Home

Safe Ride Home services may be available in selected areas only.

For Safe Ride Home service, the Customer's vehicle must have valid insurance and proper vehicle documents.

The Customer is responsible for making sure the vehicle is legally allowed to be driven on the road.

Taskers providing Safe Ride Home or ride-related services must have a valid driving license and must follow traffic and safety laws.

TASKO or the Tasker may refuse or cancel the service if the vehicle is unsafe, uninsured, does not have proper documents, or cannot legally be driven.

9. Payments and Fees

Customers must pay the amount shown or agreed through the TASKO platform.

TASKO may charge service fees, platform fees, commission, cancellation fees, or other charges, which will be shown where applicable.

Tasker payouts may be made after deducting TASKO fees, refunds, penalties, taxes, cancellation charges, or other applicable charges.

Users must not make or request off-platform payments to avoid TASKO fees.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund rules may depend on the task type, task status, cancellation reason, timing, and situation.

TASKO may approve a full refund, partial refund, cancellation fee, no refund, partial payout, or full payout depending on the case.

10.1 Tasker Cancels After Accepting but Before Starting the Task

If a Tasker cancels after accepting the task but before starting it, TASKO may assign another available Tasker or provide a refund to the Customer.

If a Tasker repeatedly cancels without a valid reason, TASKO may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove the Tasker from the platform.

10.2 Customer Cancels Before the Task Starts

If a Customer cancels before the task starts, TASKO may provide a full or partial refund depending on the cancellation time and situation.

If the Tasker has already travelled, prepared, or spent time for the task, a cancellation fee may apply.

10.3 Customer or Tasker Cancels After the Task Has Started

If the Customer or Tasker cancels after the task has started, the refund or payout will depend on the work already completed, time spent, travel cost, materials used, and reason for cancellation.

TASKO may provide a partial refund to the Customer or partial payout to the Tasker based on the situation.

If cancellation happens because of unsafe behavior, fraud, abuse, wrong task details, or violation of TASKO policy, TASKO may take further action against the responsible user.

11. Prohibited Activities

Users must not use TASKO for:

  • Illegal activities
  • Fraud or fake bookings
  • Harassment, abuse, threats, or discrimination
  • Unsafe, harmful, or offensive tasks
  • Transporting illegal goods
  • Off-platform payments to avoid TASKO fees
  • Misusing the app, hacking, spamming, or copying TASKO's system
  • Providing false information
  • Damaging TASKO's reputation or user trust

TASKO may remove tasks, cancel bookings, suspend accounts, hold payments, or take legal action for violations.

12. Ratings and Reviews

Users may leave ratings and reviews after tasks.

Reviews must be honest, respectful, and based on real experience.

TASKO may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, misleading, irrelevant, or against our policies.

13. Disputes

If there is a problem between a Customer and Tasker, users should contact TASKO support.

TASKO may review task details, messages, payment records, photos, location records, and other evidence to help resolve the issue.

TASKO's decision may include full refund, partial refund, no refund, payout release, payout hold, warning, suspension, or account termination.

14. Platform Availability

TASKO tries to keep the platform available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that the app or website will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

TASKO may update, change, suspend, or stop any service or feature at any time.

15. Limitation of Liability

TASKO works to provide a safe and reliable platform, but we do not guarantee that every task will be completed perfectly, safely, or on time.

TASKO is not responsible for losses, damages, injuries, delays, theft, disputes, or service issues caused by users, Taskers, third-party providers, or off-platform arrangements, except where required by law.

Users are responsible for their own actions, behavior, safety, and legal compliance.

16. Privacy

Your use of TASKO is also covered by our Privacy Policy.

By using TASKO, you agree that we may collect and use your information as explained in our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to Terms

TASKO may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on our app or website. By continuing to use TASKO after updates, you agree to the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.

Any dispute shall be handled under the applicable laws and courts of Nepal, unless otherwise agreed.
